The Silver Gold Daily is the brightest pen in the collection. Lustrous silver chrome is ion-plated over the brass body, the clip and trim carry real gold accents, and the stainless steel nib is plated with real gold.
It is also a beginner fountain pen at heart: a metal body, an airtight cap and our own medium nib, made to feel easy from the first page. The cigar shape is slimmer than our Classic and evenly balanced.
The medium nib and feed are Scriveiner’s own design, refined in-house over years of testing. Ink reaches the page evenly, with a clean start to every stroke and no skipping or flooding along the way.
A medium nib writes a full, readable line and copes well with a changing angle, which makes it a good starter fountain pen. It suits experienced hands just as well.
Fill the Daily from a bottle using the fitted converter, with any fountain pen ink you like. When you are out and about, slot in a pre-filled cartridge instead: it is quick and clean, and there is a black and a blue in the box.
